What's Goin' On

President's Day Fun Fly

Frost Your Buns on January 1st is our first official opening of each flying year, but the President’s Day event on February 19th, was the first official ‘Fun Fly’ of the 2008 year.

Frost Your Buns

It has been a Propbuster tradition for more years than most of us can remember to meet at the field on the first day of the new year...

Winter Solstice Fly

Our winter solstice fly was designed to be an opportunity to try out flying in the snow.

August Hot Dog Float Fly

Now that we have a new grill, thanks to Ken Corrin and Denny Bernal, you can find food aplenty at the Propbuster events. Doc says we have no shortage of hot dogs and we will continue to barbecue them at all the remaining outside events this year.

Windy and Hot Fun Flys

According to the weather service, July ranked as second on the all time list of hottest months in our area.

Curlew Lake Float Flying

In May, we tried Curlew Lake for the first time. Our current site is on the northwest corner of the lake....

The Propbusters meet the second Tuesday of each month at 7:30 P.M. in the basement of The Beanery which is in the Old Creamery Mini Mall, 201 Main Street. Guests are always welcome at any meeting.

Janice Jensen Field is located just north of Interstate 90 at the New Underwood exit. Drive north after leaving the interstate and take the first left. We often fly in the morning. We also fly float planes from New Underwood lake which is just past the field about 1/4 mile.
