What's Goin' On

Winter Banquet After some discussion last fall, we decided to move the Christmas Party to an after-Christmas party which we named the Winter Banquet.
			Casual IMAC Fly What’s a shark’ tooth? I have to do what after the loop? Those were some common questions the Propbuster fliers mouthed during our casual IMAC fly on October 18th.
August Fun Fly One of this year’s goals for the club was to increase the participation in our fun fly events. Obviously, member Terry Rambo, took this advice to heart.
			Promised Land Barbeque For many years, our Propbuster President, Doc McGuigan, has held a fun fly at his property south of Hermosa, aptly named the Promised Land.
CSP Stockade Lake Float Fly Almost since the inception of the Open House Weekend festivities at the various state parks here in South Dakota the Rapid City Propbusters have performed demonstrations at Custer State Park
			Float Flying Season Opens After a four year hiatus, we are once again back to our favorite water flying site at New Underwood lake.
Passing of a Legend Well, it’s inevitable. Time marches on. We get older and, sometimes, sicker. Such was the case with our legendary charter member, Lowell Hamilton.
			Frost Your Buns 2009 For longer than most of us can remember (which may be a matter of days) we have met at the field on the first day of the new year to celebrate the combined joys of flight and frostbite.

The Propbusters meet the second Tuesday of each month at 7:30 P.M. in the basement of The Beanery which is in the Old Creamery Mini Mall, 201 Main Street. Guests are always welcome at any meeting.

Janice Jensen Field is located just north of Interstate 90 at the New Underwood exit. Drive north after leaving the interstate and take the first left. We often fly in the morning. We also fly float planes from New Underwood lake which is just past the field about 1/4 mile.
